Can you find the hidden bishop?
Did you notice that both the white queen and the white bishop are pointing toward the pawn at g7? Black has nothing protecting that g7 square except the king and it is outnumbered by those two white pieces. After the queen captures the pawn at g7, it is checkmate, for the bishop protects that queen, so the king cannot capture it.
The first thing you need to see in a game of chess, when it is your turn, is if you can make an immediate checkmate.
Did you consider moving the white queen to b8? It would not be safe there, for the black knight would capture it.
